| "...Trying to be the kind of people our pets believe us to be.
With many years of extensive art background and manufacturing experience, we decided to give up the rat race and "head for the hills".
After a short but sweet visit to Asheville in 1996, we were both in awe of the beauty surrounding this fair city. Having a slow moment at work and glancing through a jewelry trade journal found us a small shop for sale and we immediately jumped on the opportunity. Getting back to real values and enjoying life and nature became our primary goals. Connecting with all living things seemed to be so much more satisfying than living the hectic, high-stress lives we had been living. We wanted to draw family closer together both physically and spiritually. It was clearly time to sit back and smell the roses! We are thankful we took this chance..."
